Florida Beer Friday: Too Hop'd to Handle

Posted by Meghan Guarino on January 20, 2017

In Beer, IPA

High Heel Brewing is new to the Florida craft beer scene. Though the founder and master brewer has only made two beers in it's lineup, Kristi McGuire has over 20 years of experience in the industry including time with Alaskan Brewing Company and Anheuser-Busch.

Too Hop'd To Handle is her IPA that boasts a complex flavor because of a mix of four different hops. It ends nicely due to the addition of Belgian candied sugar. If it wasn't labeled an IPA, I would of thought it was more of a double IPA with its ABV of 8.4%.
