Last month, a team of top beer consultants from ABC locations on the west coast of the state made their way to Darwin Brewing in Bradenton, Florida. Their mission? To create a beer they--and their guests--will love.
After a full day of brewing, sipping, tasting, snacking and chatting, our west coast beer consultants--all very knowledgeable in beer and happy to help should you ever need a recommendation--accomplished a beer that will rival all others this summer.
Introducing WeCBC Passion Berliner. The meaning of the name? West Coast Best Coast. The taste profile? Delicious. This lightly tart Berliner Weisse comes in at a highly sessionable 3.2% ABV for a refreshing, effervescent ale. It's lightly tart with notes of passion fruit and goes great with french fries, salmon and ceviche.
And the best news? It's available starting this month on tap in the Darwin Brewing taproom and at select ABC Brew Stop locations. (Because if you didn't already know, we fill growlers at 20+ ABC locations across the state! Need more info on this glorious thing we call a growler? Look no further--just click here.)
Follow your local beer consultant on Twitter to keep up with the current tap list at your fave ABC location. Don't know who to follow? Start with this one: @abcbeercountry.
Cheers to a summer filled with new beer!
