Invite 15 of your closest friends for a Halloween party and try to be bartender to them all night, concocting the exact amount of spirit, bitters and mixer they prefer for every cocktail they consume throughout the evening. Oh, and all while in your mermaid costume, too. Game over?
If that sounds like a real-life Halloween nightmare, let us offer a BIG solution – big batch cocktails fit for a crowd.
Each of these recipes offer a stress-free night to both you (the host) and the guest. Just mix one or two of these up and direct them to the punch table.
We can’t promise that Bloody Mary will show up in your mirror if you chant her name, but we can promise that this batch cocktail will make your life way easier the night of your party.
- 1 cup Prairie Organic Vodka
- 2 quarts Agalima Organic Bloody Mary Mix
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Worcestershire sauce, to taste
- Hot sauce, to taste
- Giant green olives for garnish
- Chili pepper for garnish
- Black Hawaiian Sea Salt
Rim a pint glass with black salt. Combine vodka, tomato juice, fresh lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce into a punch bowl. Stir well. Pour into individual glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a celery stick or any of your favorite organic fixings.
Apothecary’s Poison Apple
Alice Cooper himself would be proud of this recipe. Keep it flowing all night for maximum scare-ability.
- 2 cups Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
- 3 cups cranberry juice
- 2 (12 ounce) bottles of Angry Orchard Rosé cider
Combine all ingredients in a drink dispenser and stir. Pour into rocks glasses filled with ice.
The Cackling Cauldron
Double, double, toil and trouble. Campari pour and cauldron bubble.
- 2 cups Campari
- 6 cups fresh orange juice
- Dry ice
Mix in a bowl and garnish with dry ice. To be safe, you can put dry ice in a large bowl, then put batch cocktail in a smaller bowl on top.
The Petrified Pear
The perfect pear-ing to your frightening feast.
- 1 cup Quarter Horse Bourbon
- 1 cup pear nectar
- Juice of one lemon
- 4 ounces honey simple syrup (equal parts honey and water)
- 1 cup ounces ginger beer
- 2 cups ginger ale
- Cinnamon sticks for garnish
Combine bourbon, pear nectar, lemon juice and simple syrup in a punch bowl with and stir. Top with ginger beer and ginger ale. Pour cocktail over crushed ice in a glass with a cinnamon stick.
The Dead Margarita
Show some celebration dead-ication with this smoky margarita.
- 2 cups Sombra Mezcal
- 1 cup lime juice
- 4 ounces agave
- Top with soda water
Combine Mezcal, lime juice and agave in bowl. Mix and pour into individual glasses over crushed ice. Top with soda water and a lime wheel.
