Anyone who knows me, knows that I love candy. It’s a “Sour Patch Kids are considered a major food group” kind of love. As a candy connoisseur, I’ve taken it upon myself to round up the top 3 candy-inspired cocktails you should be making this Halloween. While trick-or-treating may no longer be on the agenda, these concoctions will ensure you get a Halloween-worthy sugar fix.
SOUR PATCH KID INFUSED VODKA
- 2 – 3 large bags Sour Patch Kids
- Vodka (pick your favorite)
- 5 Mason Jars
Separate the Sour Patch Kids by color and place one color in each jar. Fill the jars until they are halfway full of candy. Top off with vodka. Refrigerate one week or until Sour Patch Kids are completely white. Strain each color separately through a coffee filter into new jars (again, one jar for each color). Make sure to use a new coffee filter for each so the colors don’t bleed together. Serve as shooters. Store in your fridge or freezer.
PEANUT BUTTER CUP MARTINI
- 2 oz Crème de Cocoa Dark Liqueur
- 2/3 oz Peanut Butter
- 1 oz Pinnacle Vodka
- ½ oz Milk
- Peanut Butter Cup
Add all ingredients (except peanut butter cup) to a blender to mix. Pour into an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain into a
martini glass. Garnish with a peanut butter cup.
MAGICAL COTTON CANDY MARTINI
- 2 cup Cotton Candy
- 2 cups Grape Juice
- 4 oz Vodka
Combine juice and vodka in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine. Place cotton candy in martini glass. Pour liquid mixture over cotton candy.
